A section of half-educated people are leading youths astray and using them to launch bomb attacks in the name of Islam, they said, adding, there might be a Jewish plot behind it.

The alems were speaking at a seminar at the Osmani Memorial Hall in the capital on 'Militancy Versus Islam' on Sunday.
Khatib of Baitul Mokarram National Mosque Moulana Obaidul Haque chaired the seminar while state minister for religious affairs Mosharef Hossain Shahjahan and state minister for home Lutfozzaman Babar spoke as guests.
Masjid Council president Moulana Abul Kalam Azad, principal Moulana Kamaluddin Zafri, Moulana Abdul Latif of Ahle Hadith, director of the Revival of Islamic Heritage Society (RIHS-Kuwait) Moulana Akramuzzaman, Moulana Zoynul Abedin and Mufti Syed Ahmed Mozaddedi of Ta'amirul Millat Madrasa also spoke at the seminar.
State minister for home affairs Lutfozzaman Babar urging the opposition parties to sit at a national dialogue to resist the terrorism and militant activities said, "Let's sit together and unite against bomb terrorism putting aside all our differences."
Baitul Mokarram Khatib said Islam does not allow militancy and bombing, adding, it is a national problem, which can be resolved only through national unity.
The national mosque Khatib urged all Imams of the country to deliver their sermons against terrorism and militancy during khutba and bring out processions in their respective areas after the jumma prayer on December 9, Friday as a part of campaign against terrorism in the name of Islam.
