Modi’s remarks are part of a 193-page book called ‘Exam Warriors’ that includes illustrations, activities, yoga exercises and ’25 mantras’ for students taking exams.

"This book is for all students who are appearing for examinations,” the prime minister writes. “They are the 'Exam warriors' -- brave youngsters taking part in the festival of exams. The book drives home the important point that when it comes to examinations, there is no need to worry excessively or view it as a life-and-death situation.”

Modi advises students to stay calm and focused, treat exams like festivals, stresses the importance of technology and the importance of sleep to beat the stress.

‘Exam Warriors’ is published by Penguin Random House and is also available in digital format through the Narendra Modi Mobile App.

Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj read excerpts from the book at its launch on Saturday.

"Chill maro, exams are like festivals," she said in the NDTV report.
