Mirpur slum goes up in flames

A huge fire has devastated a large slum at Mirpur Section-7 in Dhaka. Hundreds of shanties near Chalantika bend and behind Rupnagar Police Station burnt down before 20 units of firefighters tamed the blaze after three and a half hours of efforts on Friday. Photo: Asif Mahmud Ove
