Festivities of Buddha Purnima

Members of the Buddhist community in Bangladesh celebrated Buddha Purnima, the biggest religious festival of the community, on Sunday, May 15, 2022. To mark the occasion of the birth of Gautam Buddha, the founder of Buddhism, followers organised programmes at pagodas, monasteries and other holy sites across the country.
