Dhaka lights up for 50th Victory Day

Special arrangements have been made to mark the golden jubilee of Bangladesh's victory over Pakistan in the Liberation War and the closing of Mujib Year, the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Heads of state and governments of several countries have come to Dhaka to be a part of the special occasion. The capital has been colourfully decorated for the two-day celebrations.
