Memories of Simon Dring

Then a war correspondent of the Daily Telegraph, celebrated British journalist Simon Dring was the first person who flashed out to the world the genocide carried out by the Pakistani forces on the Bengalis in 1971. Revered as a 'true friend' of Bangladesh, he reminisced about his experience covering the country's War of Independence at a programme, Smriti 71, at Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka on Apr 16, 2012.
