The country is going through a strict lockdown as part of the government’s effort to curb the spread of COVID-19. Meanwhile, cattle traders have set up markets ahead of the Eid-ul-Azha in several locations of the capital. The Meradia and Aftabnagar cattle markets are being prepared to trade cattle for sacrifice during the Islamic celebration, but no animals were yet brought to the location. Some cattle were brought to the Dhupkhola grounds, but the number is scarce with only a few days to go before the Eid. Photo: Mahmud Zaman Ovi
