Dhaka zoo reopens

Thousands thronged Bangladesh National Zoo in Dhaka's Mirpur when it reopened on Nov 1, 2020 following a seven-month closure due to the coronavirus outbreak. The authorities offered free tickets to all visitors as it is allowing free entry on the first Sunday of every month during the yearlong celebrations of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's birth centenary.
