Hilsa at Kawran Bazar

According to the data provided by WorldFish, an international non-profit research organization on fisheries, Bangladesh has achieved sustainable growth in hilsa production. Bangladesh caters to about 86 percent of the global demand for hilsa. Fishmongers in Dhaka are happy with the supply of hilsa this year, with the capital’s Kawran Bazar swarmed with catches from the sea.
