War hero CR Dutta’s body arrives in Dhaka

Bangladesh war hero retired major Chitta Ranjan Dutta, a sector commander of the 1971 Liberation War who was better known as CR Dutta, died in a US hospital at the age of 93 on Aug 25, 2020. The mortal remains of the freedom fighter, who was conferred the 'Bir Uttam' gallantry award, arrived at Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Aug 31, 2020. Photo: Asif Mahmud Ove
