Commemorating Kerbala

Shia Muslims thronged the premises of Hussaini Dalan Imambara in Old Dhaka on Aug 30, 2020 to mark Ashura, the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussain, the grandson of Prophet Muhammad, in Karbala. They overcrowded the place and came in processions though the government has banned gatherings and this year's Tazia procession due to the coronavirus outbreak.
