National Mourning Day

A raft of programmes commemorated the 45th death anniversary of the nation's founding father Bangabandhu Sheikh Muhibur Rahman. On this day in 1975, a group of rogue army soldiers assassinated Bangabandhu along with most of his family members in one of the worst political massacres in world history.
