Risky launch rides are back

People are leaving Dhaka to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha amid the coronavirus pandemic, with most of those southbound taking launches at Sadarghat terminal. They are cramming into vessels, standing shoulder to shoulder without wearing masks despite infection risks while a lack of monitoring allows the transporters to take more passengers than the limit fixed for the outbreak, even beyond the capacity.
