Plastic shards by the Buriganga

Plastic debris are washed and set out to dry on the banks of the Buriganga River in Old Dhaka's Islambagh, Saraighat, Kamrangirchar and other neighbouring areas. The pieces are then taken to a recycling plant where new products are made from it. Photo: Asif Mahmud Ove
