Bullfighting in Dhaka

Bullfighting, a popular attraction in rural Bangladesh, has found its way to the city. A bullfight was held on Sunday as part of a three-day sports and cultural programme in Paltan Maidan to celebrate Pahela Baishakh. The event was arranged by the Bangladesh District and Divisional Sports Organising Council and Bangladesh Country Games Association.
