Trump to crown ‘Dishonest & Corrupt Media of the Year’

US President Donald Trump says he will be announcing awards for dishonesty and poor reporting in the media.

The ‘THE MOST DISHONEST & CORRUPT MEDIA AWARDS OF THE YEAR’ will be presented at 5pm local time on Monday, Jan 8, Trump said in a tweet from his official account.

The awards will have various categories for ‘Fake News Media’ reports, highlighting their ‘falsehoods’, the US president said.

“We should have a contest as to which of the Networks, plus CNN and not including Fox, is the most dishonest, corrupt and/or distorted in its political coverage of your favorite President (me),” he had tweeted in November.

Trump also took aim at North Korean leader Kim Jong Un during his tweet storm on Wednesday morning.

He called out Kim’s recent comment regarding the ‘nuclear button’ on his desk, stating:

“Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!”
