He inaugurated a photo exhibition titled "Many Years, Many Stories” to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Voice of America Bangla Service on Tuesday at the EMK Center in Dhanmondi.

US Embassy Public Affairs Officer Nicholas Papp was also present.

Inu said the VoA served as a “bridge” between the people of Bangladesh and America, despite the fact the two governments historically could not agree on many issues.

Papp congratulated the VoA Bangla Service and said this remained a “great partner” of the State Department.

He encouraged people to visit its website, Facebook page and listen to their video transmissions and watch sponsored TV programmes.

“It has large fan clubs,” he said, congratulating those fans also.

The exhibition will remain open to the public until Sep 28.
