They are prepared to marry in a ceremony that will be attended by 600 guests and watched by millions.

Huge crowds are gathering in Windsor, with hundreds of die-hard royalists - many decked out in the national colours of both Britain and the United States - having camped out overnight to secure the best views.

Prince Charles is stepping in for the father of the bride, as he prepares to walk Markle down the aisle. Markle’s vows will not include the promise to "obey" her husband. Prince Harry has chosen to wear a wedding ring - unlike his brother.

She will be followed by her six bridesmaids and four pageboys including Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Markle will then be accompanied by Charles through the Quire, which begins in the middle of the chapel. However, the ceremony will omit the traditional moment of "giving away".

Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby will officiate as the couple makes wedding vows.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Kensington Palace has announced.

By tradition, male members of the Royal family receive a title from the monarch on their wedding day, and the vacant title Duke of Sussex has always been regarded as the most likely choice for the Prince.
