Prof Shwapnil becomes vice-president of Euroasian Gastroenterological Association
Prof Mamun Al Mahtab Shwapnil has been elected vice-president of the Euroasian Gastroenterological Association (EGA).

He is chairman of the Department of Hepatology at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University.
He is also a visiting faculty of the Department of Gastroenterology & Metabology of the Ehime University Graduate School of Medicine, Japan.
EGA is an association of liver and gastroenterologists of Europe and Asia.
Prof Shwapnil was elected in this position at the annual general meeting held in Croatia recently, said a statement.
