“Actually I feel embarrassed to speak over the issue. Even after this, I say that a story may have characteristic similarities with another,” Parvez told bdnews24.com.

“But the story of my film does not match the short story in any way. They are totally different in philosophy and concept,” he said.
“Some mischievous people are trying to embarrass me,” he added.
Parvez had earlier credited Siraj and officially took rights of a story from Siraj for his film ‘Chandragrahon’.
About the allegation of ‘plagiarism’ brought forth by Siraj’s family, Parvez said, “They are lying. I had a good relationship with Syed Mustafa Siraj.”
‘Brihonnola’, funded by the government, has been chosen as the best film of 2014.
