But the toss for the match at Malahide has been delayed due to a wet outfield following several bouts of rain since the morning. Although the rain has stopped, the covers remain on the pitch. The toss was slated for 3pm (Bangladesh standard time) but it is unlikely to take place before 4pm.

The Tigers had to cancel their practice session on Wednesday due to inclement weather.

Bangladesh is likely to go into the clash against Ireland with the same line-up that beat the West Indies by 8 wickets on Tuesday.
