The Tigers settled the series against the Ireland A team at Malahide Cricket Ground in Dublin on Friday.
The match was limited to 18 overs after rain interrupted the play. The Irish scored 183/5 thanks to a 111-run partnership between William Porterfield and Simi Singh. But a big opening stand by skipper Soumya Sarkar and Mohammad Mithun laid a terrific foundation to take Bangladesh to victory with seven balls in hand.
Soumya, at the other end, picked up 47.
Nazmul Hossain Shanto and Zakir Hasan followed at the crease as Mithun carried on, hitting 7 fours and 6 sixes.
Al Amin Jr and Mominul Haque closed out the Tiger’s victory.
Saif would go on to pick up 4 wickets for 28 runs.
