The hosts made quick work of the 171-run chase, led by Tamim Iqbal's unbeaten 83.

All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan scored 37 before losing his wicket on review of a lbw decision. The two wickets were taken by off-spinner Sikandar Raza.

Bangladesh had won the toss and elected to field. The decision paid immediate returns as Shakib took two wickets in the opening over.

But the Zimbabwean batting order mounted a stubborn defence led by middle-order batsman Raza, who scored a slow but steady 52 before being run out. He was supported by Peter Moor, who put up a respectable 33.

Shakib was adjudged Man of the Match for his 3/43 and 37 off 46 balls. Mustafizur Rahman and Rubel Hossain pick up two wickets apiece.
