Bangladesh Cricket team captain Mushfiqur Rahim has been taken to hospital in South Africa after suffering a head injury on the third day of the Bloemfontein Test, which his team lost by an innings and 254 runs.

Manager Minhazul Abedin said doctors did not find any major issue. Mushfiqur later joined the prize-giving ceremony, where he informed that he was fine.
In the 14 over of the innings, he ducked into a bouncer by Duanne Olivier and was hit on the left side of his helmet.
After taking the hit, he walked to the leg side, sat on his knees and then hunched over. He was surrounded by the South African team and attended to by the Bangladesh management.
Team physiotherapist Thihan Chandramohan administered on-field treatment while South Africa's team manager, Mohammed Moosajee, who is also a doctor, arrived on the scene.
The Bangladesh skipper took several more minutes and got a change of helmet before deciding to continue.
He batted for another 40 minutes until struck on the pads and given out lbw from delivery by Wayne Parnell.
Mushfiqur suffered a similar hit in the Wellington Test against New Zealand in January, when he was stretchered off to hospital from the field.
