Bangladesh are 236 for four losing the wicket of Mominul in the penultimate ball of the 90th over at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium on Tuesday.

“If (we) didn’t lose my wicket, we would’ve been in a strong position. Still, I think, we are in a good position,” said Mominul at the press conference after stumps.

“Losing one of our wickets at that time was a bonus for them (Pakistan).”

Mominul scored a solid 80 before being adjudged leg-before off left-arm spinner Zulfiqar Babar.

“I think, I played a poor shot. Maybe I was a bit distracted, so I got out.”

The 23-year old lauded Pakistan bowlers for bowling a tight line and length all through.
Bangladesh’s run rate after stumps was 2.62 per over.

“All of them were tough (bowlers) in my opinion. They bowled in great spots and bowled very less loose balls.”
