Entrepret aims at providing the young and aspiring undergraduate students of Bangladesh with a platform through which they can foster their business ideas into concrete reality.

With the imminent Entrepret Season 1 sponsored by Jaj Bhuiyan Group, and co-sponsored by ACME Laboratories, NSU YES! organised the workshop on the campus last Friday to bolster the participants’ enthusiasm.

Wali-Ul-Maroof Matin, founder and managing director of Maslin Capital Limited, and Mirza M Ferdous, managing firector of Prestige Consulting Group, spoke to the up-and-coming entrepreneurs, encouraging them to broaden their visions.

Matin asserted the importance of studying the state of the current world, making analogies with historic scholars and the industrial revolution. He explained how demand changes and vitalised studying current trends.

Ferdous taught the participants what it means to be an entrepreneur. He explained how one should not wait for opportunities to come to them, but to start working with what they have now. He asserted the importance of receiving criticism and encouraged an open-minded outlook on their own ideas.

The auditorium was filled with bright-eyed would-be entrepreneurs as the workshop commenced, NSU YES! said in a media release on Monday.

Enterpret is the NSU YES! platform for the young minds to present the problem they see in the world and find an innovative and feasible solution to these.

Their ideas will be scrutinised and reviewed with each round until only the greatest vision remains.

The event gave the participants the freedom to team up with their friends from any other universities including their own or even strive for the grand prize of Tk 500,000 all by themselves.

The registration for Entrepret Season 1 began on Mar 17, and it quickly accumulated over 350 eager teams ready to present their ideas to the world.

NSU YES!, established in 1994, has created a legacy of 25 years by organising some of the biggest events in the country, including NSUers meet Corporate Icons, Masters of Ideation, and Ad Maker Bangladesh.

Entrepret has bdnews24.com as its online media partner, The Daily Star as print media partner, Radio Foorti as its radio partner and Ekattor TV as its news channel partner.
