OHAI Solutions Limited and the DMP jointly held an event to mark the collaboration on May 7.
The ceremony was inaugurated by DMP Police Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia along with OBHAI’s Chief Operating Officer Quazi Omar Ferdous.
OBHAI, in a bid to reduce road accidents, had recently arranged training sessions for its riders. The training was conducted by the ‘Accident Research Institute (ARI)’ of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology and supervised drivers on driving methods and road safety.
Meanwhile, the company has also sought to empower and instill self-sufficiency into women through its ‘OBON’ initiative.
OBON is a specialised ride-hailing service exclusive to women passengers where the drivers are also women.
The company is also striving to enhance the lives of CNG autorickshaw drivers by familiarising them with the use of technology and digital platforms.
