Canada, Japan bilateral chambers in Bangladesh host dinner reception

The Canada-Bangladesh (CanCham) Chamber and the Japan-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JBCCI) have co-organised a networking dinner and reception in Dhaka.

Canadian High Commissioner Benoit Prefontaine and Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) Kazi M Aminul Islam were present as guests at the dinner on Thursday.

Representatives of the Brazil, Japan, and Turkey embassies and the UNDP and ICC were also present in this event apart from the chamber leaders.

They also discussed how to bring more investments to Bangladesh with the cooperation of BIDA, according to a statement.
