Hasina congratulates BGMEA president-elect Rubana on election win
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has congratulated Rubana Huq on her election as the first female president of the BGMEA.

The Sammilita-Forum panel led by the Mohammadi Group boss swept the polls to the garment entrepreneurs’ body on Saturday.
On Sunday, Rubana paid a courtesy call on Hasina at the Ganabhaban in Dhaka. The prime minister congratulated her and wished her success, Hasina’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told bdnews24.com.
Rubana’s husband late Annisul Huq was a former BGMEA president.
He was elected mayor of Dhaka North in 2015 with the ruling Awami League’s ticket.
