Turkish Airlines awards travel, cargo agents in Dhaka ceremony

Turkish Airlines Inc has distributed awards among top travel agents and cargo agents for their outstanding performance in 2018 in a ceremony in Dhaka.

The programme, Turkish Airlines Agency Award Night, was held at the Radisson Blu hotel on Wednesday evening, the airlines said in a media release on Thursday.

WAC Logistics Limited, SG Logistics (PVT) LTD, HELLMANN Worldwide Logistics Ltd and TOTAL Transportation Limited were awarded for outstanding cargo sales performance.

Be Fresh, Victory Travels, International Travel Corporation, Suma International, Anower Tours and Travels, Dynamic Travels, Horizon Express Limited, Valencia Air Travel and Tours and Hajee Air Travels Ltd were awarded under passenger sales category. 

Hajee Air Travels was awarded for highest revenue contribution last year.

The event was attended by senior executives from 150 travel agents and 60 cargo agents, Turkish Airlines corporate members along with guests from Turkish Embassy in Bangladesh and other business establishments. 

Emrah Karaca, Country Manager Bangladesh, Turkish Airlines, presented a welcome message. 

Halit Tuncer, Regional Cargo Sales and Marketing Manager, also spoke on the occasion.

All guest also enjoyed special performance by a Turkish folk dance troupe flown in from Turkey featuring the melodious tune of Turkish Ney flute.
