Ridesharing app OBHAI launches loyalty programme ObhaiMiles

On-demand ridesharing app OBHAI has launched a loyalty programme called ObhaiMiles.

Users will now be eligible to earn ObhaiMiles for each ride, which can later be redeemed on the same OBHAI services, the company said in a media release on Saturday.

Launched on Dec 5, ObhaiMiles allows users to earn loyalty points for each taka spent on OBHAI rides, according to the release.

Users can eventually use these points subject to redemption policies to use OBHAI services, it added.

Starting its journey in the beginning of this year, in addition to regular ride services, OBHAI launched OBON, a specialised service with female drivers for its female users.

OBHAI is also the pioneer of providing app-based CNG autorickshaw services in Bangladesh.

The OBHAI app is available on Google Play Store and iOS App Store and passengers can also book rides by calling OBHAI’s helpline (16633, 09610056789) as well.

Currently, OBHAI has over 400,000 users and more than 100,000 registered drivers, according to the company.

In a year, OBHAI has expanded its services to Chattogram and Sylhet in addition to serving 179 points of Dhaka, according to the company.

“OBHAI also has plans to further expand its services to other cities in Bangladesh to make the lives of commuters smooth, convenient and safe,” it said.
