Emirates appoints new manager to Bangladesh

Emirates announced the appointment of Saeed Abdulla Miran as the airline’s new area manager in Bangladesh.

With half a decade of experience in the aviation industry, Miran is expected to bring a strong leadership to Emirates’ Bangladesh team, the company said in a statement on Monday.

In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing Emirates’ operations, optimising revenue and expanding the airline’s footprint within the country.

“Saeed is well-placed to manage our operations in Bangladesh. His experience with delivering strong results in other markets will undoubtedly hold him in good stead. I am confident that Saeed will play a key role in the ongoing development of our operations in Bangladesh,” said Ahmed Khoory, Emirates’ senior vice president for West Asia and Indian Ocean.

“Bangladesh is a high growth market with a lot of potential. Emirates enjoys a well-established reputation among travellers from Bangladesh, owing to its renowned customer service, both in the air and on the ground. I look forward to a successful future here with my team,” Miran said.

Miran joined Emirates six years ago as a commercial support manager in Doha and later on served as Emirates’ country manager in Sudan.

Emirates operates 21 flights a week from Dhaka and via Dubai offers convenient connections to more than 160 destinations in 86 countries worldwide.
