A company spokesperson announced on Friday evening that Tasbirul Ahmed Choudhury, the founding chairman and managing director who last week had resigned, has joined again, this time only as MD.

Md Mahtabur Rahman will continue as the chairman.

“Hopefully we’ll be able to resume domestic and international flights from tomorrow (Saturday),” Marketing and Communications DGM Kamrul Islam said.

“The management held a meeting with the former chairman Tasbirul Ahmed Choudhury. The meeting ended around 8pm,” he said.

“As per the decisions, Tasbirul Ahmed Choudhury was reinstated as the MD. The internal problems have been resolved.”

Kamrul said all formalities needed to resume flights had been completed.
