The private airlines is yet to make any formal announcement over it, but a web post by the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Tuesday says Mohammad Mahtabur Rahman has been appointed as the new chairman.

According to the DSE announcement on Tuesday, Shahinoor Alam has been made the acting managing director and Ferdous Imam the acting chief executive officer.

The company has also declared that its board has recommended a 10 percent stock dividend for the year ended on June 30.

It has also reported earnings per share (EPS) of Tk 1.02, a net asset value (NAV) per share of Tk 12.05.

United Airways got its licence from the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) in 2005. It has been operating flights since 2007.

In April this year, the private airliner saved its licence by paying a fraction of its dues with CAAB. It cleared Tk 10 million against its dues of Tk 770 million.
