Sampriti Bangladesh condemns deadly terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka

Sampriti Bangladesh has condemned the terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka that have killed more than 320 people including a Bangladeshi child during Easter Sunday celebrations.

In a statement, the organisation’s Convener Pijush Bandyopadhyay and Member Secretary Mamun Al Mahtab Swapnil said “terrorists are terrorists. They don’t have any caste or religion”.

The platform of eminent citizens that promotes the idea of a secular society has offered condolences at the death of Awami League leader Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim’s grandson Zayan Chowdhary in the bombings.

The boy, eight and a half years old, was having breakfast with his father Moshiul Haque Chowdhary Prince at a restaurant on the ground floor of a hotel in Colombo when it came under attack along with several other hotels and churches.
