Three minors die as boat capsizes in Narsingdi
Three minors have been killed after a boat capsized on the Brahmaputra River in Narsingdi’s Belabo Upazila.

The incident occurred around 12pm on Saturday in the Ibrahimpur village area, said Belabo Police OC Jabad Mahmud.
The dead have been identified as Neela Akhtar, 16, Samia, 8, and Tamim Mia, 6. The three were relatives.
The three had come to visit a relative’s home in Ibrahimpur village.
According to locals, a group of young people had taken a boat to tour the area. When the boat began to sink, several of them managed to swim ashore.
Locals rushed to the scene to save the three minors when they heard their screams, but they were declared dead once they arrived at Bhairab Upazila Health Complex.
