NSU student dies as motorbike collides with truck in Jamalpur 

A North South University student has died and another one was injured after a motorbike collided with a truck in Jamalpur.

The incident took place in front of Sheikh Hasina Medical College in the district town around 9pm on Friday, said Md Nasimul Islam, chief of Jamalpur Sadar Police Station.  
 
The victim has been identified as Faisal Mahmud Supta, 22, a third year student of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Faculty at the university. 
 
Faisal, along with his friend Sijan, crashed as they were riding their motorcycle. Faisal died on the spot and Sijan was taken to Jamalpur Sadar Hospital soon after the accident, OC Nasimul said. 
 
Sijan is also a student of North South University. 
 
Faisal’s body was taken to the hospital for autopsy.
