Train services resumed around 11:30am on Friday after a rescue team cleared the tracks, said Jahirul Haque, superintendent of Mymensingh railway station.

Two compartments of Jamalpur’s Dewanganj-bound train from Dhaka via Mymensingh went off the tracks near Fatemanagar railway station around 8pm on Thursday, suspending the rail services.

At least 10 people were injured as they jostled to get out of the train.
