Microbus plunges into Hatirjheel
A microbus has plunged into Dhaka’s Hatirjheel after swerving off the raid and breaking through a bridge railing.

The accident occurred on the bridge behind the police plaza around 6am on Saturday, said Hatirjheel police OC Fazlul Karim.
“Only the driver was in the vehicle,” he told bdnews24.com. “Locals rescued the driver and took him to a nearby hospital.”
Police are attempting to confirm which hospital he was taken to.
“The driver was slightly injured,” said eye-witness Murtaza Arif.
