Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has regretted that general people are still not aware while crossing the streets despite the safe road movement.
“The country witnessed such a big accident and movement, yet we see no awareness among the people. They are crossing the road haphazardly,” she told parliament during the question-answer session on Wednesday.

During the student’s 10-day long movement, they were seen on the streets checking documents of vehicles in a bid to bring traffic discipline.
But after the movement, media reported the same old story of traffic law violation in the Dhaka streets.

Hasina urged everyone to follow the traffic law while crossing the road.
