Three die in separate road crashes in Savar
Three men have died in separate road crashes in Savar on the outskirts of Dhaka city.

All of them died on the spot.
A bus hit a motorbike from behind in Aminbazar area on Friday, knocking the two riders down on the road, said Mohsinul Qadir, chief of Savar Model Police Station. A speeding truck crushed them, killing them on the spot.
The dead were identified as Shafiqul and Sujat. Both were the residents of Pabna.
Police seized the bus, but could not nab the driver and helpers as they fled.
In another accident, a truck driver died after his vehicle veered into a roadside ditch in Dhamrai Upazila as he lost control, according to Rezaul Haque, chief of Dhamarai Police Station.
Details about the driver were not immediately available.
