Man found dead in Jhalakathi orchard
A man has been found dead in an orchard near his home in Jhalakathi’s Rajapur Upazila.

The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Sabuj Howladar, son of Mokammel Howladar, hailing from upazila’s Bhatkathi village.
The locals spotted the body in a roadside bush near the house in the early hours of Sunday and reported it to the police and it was later recovered, said Shamsul Arefin, chief of the local police station.
Several injury marks were found on the body’s throat and face. An initial investigation suggests he was hanged after being beaten, Arefin said.
Police are looking to arrest the perpetrators.
