A fire has started at a garment factory on Wapda Road in Dhaka’s Rampura.
The fire began around 1:45pm on Sunday on the sixth floor of the 12-storey ML Tower at the Asiana Garment Industry factory, the fire service said.
Ten units are working to put out the blaze, Fire Service Control Room official Mahfuzur Rahman said.

“Most of the workers were outside on their lunch break,” he said.
The cause of the fire has not been confirmed. There have been no reported casualties.
