Man dies in Chapainawabganj bomb blast over feud

A man has been killed and two others injured in back-and-forth bomb attacks over a feud in Chapainawabganj’s Sadar Upazila.

The incident caused by a clash between the Alam and Babu Master gangs, was reported from police said.

The deceased was identified as Ayub Ali, a supporter of Babu Master.

One of the wounded was identified as Arif.  

The two gangs began detonating bombs attacking the other on Friday night, said Chapainawabganj Sadar Police Station OC Monjur Rahman quoting witnesses.  

“During the series of attacks, Alam’s associates threw a makeshift bomb at Ayub as he was at a teashop in Madrasa Haat.”

Ayub was rushed to a state run hospital where doctors pronounced him dead, he said.

The two gangs have clashed several times, he added.
