Three die in Keraniganj road crash
Three people have been killed in a road crash between a truck and an autorickshaw in Dhaka’s South Keraniganj Upazila.

The incident occurred around midnight on Friday in the Ikuria Bazar area, said South Keraniganj Police Station SI Md Abul Kawser.
Police have yet to identify the victims.
A total of 19 people were killed across the country in road accidents on Friday.
A CNG autorickshaw carrying two passengers and the driver was travelling from Postagola, SI Kawser told bdnews24.com.
“The autorickshaw collided head-on with a truck travelling in the opposite direction in the Ikuria Bazar area. Two people were killed on the spot, while one was critically injured.”
“Locals rescued the wounded victim and took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where the doctors on duty declared them dead.”
The two bodies have been recovered, SI Kawser said.
The truck has been impounded, but the driver and their assistant have fled. A case is being prepared at the police station, said SI Kawser.
