Uttarkhan Police Station Sub-Inspector Saiful Islam, who is investigating a case against the five, took them to the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court of Dhaka on Tuesday.

Metropolitan Magistrate Debabrata Biswas approved Saiful’s petition seeking remand of the five to know who else were involved with question paper leaks.

The five are Tanvir Hossain, the acting headmaster of Cambridge High School in the area, the school’s accounting teacher Sajeeb Mia, Srijonsaheel Coaching Centre teachers Md Ibrahim and Md Enamul, and Hasanur Rahman alias ‘Rocky Bhai’.

After arresting them in Gazipur and Dhaka early on Monday, Rapid Action Battalion or RAB said Hasanur, a student of a private university, were involved in leaking question papers for four years.

He provided the leaked question papers to the teachers after getting those in the morning of the exams, RAB said.

After getting the answers, he uploaded those on the Facebook through his ID – ‘Rocky Bhai’, the elite force said.
