Three dead, two injured in car accident in Cox’s Bazar

Three people died and two others were suffered after a car veered off track in Taknaf in the tourist district of Cox’s Bazar.

The dead have been identified as Mohammad Ismail and Helal Uddin.

The injured, Niaz Uddin and Md Russell, are admitted to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital. All of them are aged between 25 and 30, police said.

“The five friends were riding the car on the Teknaf-Shah Porir Dwip road. The vehicle lost control and rammed into a tree early Monday. Three of them died on the spot,” said local police OC Md Main Uddin Khan. The car has been seized.
