Police caught Nurul Islam with a gun in his possession on Saturday while he was fleeing after killing his gang member identified only as Badshah, according to Badda police OC Quazi Wazed Ali.

Badshah later died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital or DMCH.

Around 2:30am Sunday, police took along Nurul to raid Badda’s Satarkul to nab his accomplices. “Nurul was wounded by a bullet as a gunfight erupted between the DB police and his men,” said the OC.

Nurul was declared dead after being taken to DMCH, said OC Ali. Nurul and Badshah belonged to the same terror gang.

Nurul shot and killed Badshah over infighting and was named in multiple criminal cases, he told bdnews24.com.
