Bus plunges into river in Tangail injuring 30

At least 30 people suffered injuries after a bus veered off track and fell into a river in Tangail’s Madhupur, a fire service official has said.
Two people went missing following the accident that took place around 10am Tuesday, said Delwar Hossain of Madhupur Fire Service Station.
“The bus fell into Bongshai River while heading to Dhaka. Fire service personnel rescued 30 people trapped inside the bus,” he said.
The injured taken to local hospitals could not be identified immediately, Hossain said.
There were some students inside the bus, according to the bus driver and some of the other victims.
Fire service personnel were trying to remove the bus from the scene.
