Woman crushed to death by bus in Dhaka
A woman has been crushed to death by a bus in Dhaka’s Malibagh while she was crossing a road.

The victim has been identified as Runa, 32, who lived with her husband and two children in the Wapda road area of West Rampura.
She was struck by a Ramzan Transport bus as she was crossing the Malibagh road around 9am on Saturday, Rampura Police Station OC Proloy Kumar Saha told bdnews24.com.
Runa and her husband went to the area by rickshaw after receiving word of a relative’s death. Runa was crossing the road while her husband paid the rickshaw fare.
Police impounded the bus, but the driver and his assistant fled.
